On the morning of February 21, the fifth day of the first lunar month—an auspicious day in Chinese tradition for welcoming the God of Wealth and receiving blessings—the company ushered in its first official working day of the new year. In the early morning of the same day, Bao Guangli, Chairman of the company, led all leading members and department heads to wait early at the company entrance, welcoming more than 1,000 employees back to work in the sincerest and warmest manner. Amid the festive and inspiring New Year music, sonorous salutes resounded throughout the factory area and brilliant fireworks burst into the sky. All employees, full of energy and high spirits, walked into the factory in an orderly manner with firm steps. The venue was filled with a positive atmosphere of reunion, enthusiasm and embarking on a new journey together.
Compared with previous years, this year’s commencement ceremony was more spectacular and innovative. The company specially added a traditional lion dance performance, which created a strong festive atmosphere and conveyed good auspices for the new year’s launch. It also carries the best wishes for the prosperity of the company and the happiness of all employees. The commencement ceremony was presided over by Zheng Wenkui, General Manager of the company.

After the speech, senior executives presented Chinese New Year commencement red envelopes to all employees. Afterwards, the lion dance performance began.The lions were majestic and agile, brimming with energy as they leaped and danced. Bao performed the eye-dotting ritual for the lions. Dotting the lion’s left eye signifies golden brightness; dotting the right eye signifies silver splendor; dotting the forehead signifies a prosperous opening; and dotting the lion’s mouth signifies a steady flow of wealth. Following the eye-dotting ceremony, the awakened lions danced with high spirits, leaping vigorously, sometimes mighty and agile, sometimes lively and playful. Amid the warm applause and cheers of the employees, company leaders and the lion dance team, stepping to the festive rhythm, toured the company’s four branch plants, domestic and export warehouses, distribution center, and office lobby in sequence to extend New Year greetings. They shook hands and interacted warmly with frontline employees, conveying blessings and good fortune, and sending best wishes for the new year to every employee.In front of the domestic and export warehouses and the distribution center, Bao specially shook hands with the truck drivers responsible for delivering the company’s first batch of goods in the new year. He presented them with red envelopes and New Year wishes, and extended sincere greetings to the drivers who remained at their transport posts to ensure the smooth flow of the company’s logistics.
